Solved Different antivirus for each user account??

hey, ok so my mums laptop just stopped working the other day and because she barely uses the computer instead of buying a new one she just made a user account on my laptop but she wants to install trend micro but i already have my bitdefender installed so can i have trend micro for her account and still have bitdefender for mine or not??

No, definitely not. Antivirus applications install for all users and you should never have more than one installed.

Not possible. Modern anti-virus products run as a service, at least the portion that does the real work, and start before a user logs in. There is no way different users can use different products. And having more than one anti-virus product installed is a bad idea that may reduce security and cause a variety of other problems.

FWIW: I run Malwarebytes and Vipre on the same computer and it works fine. In fact, I run the combo on most of my machines and never had any problems.
