Hi there
Looking for a bit of help if anyone can. I’m having issues when creating new user accounts in windows. I’ve got one local account and one live account (default admin) which work all ok, however if I try to create a new users (both local and live) none of the store-apps will work. All the apps have a little cross in the bottom right hand corner of the tile and it says “There is a problem with this app – There is a problem with xxxx – contact an administrator about repairing or reinstalling it”
I’ve tried removing and reinstalling store apps to no avail, still both work on the good two accounts but not on the new ones. I’ve been browsing these forums and I’ve tried to fix store corruption with the sfc/scannow and Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth again to no avail – there was a corruption that was fixed but hasn’t solved the issue.
Haven’t yet tried a restore but wanted to see if there was anything else worth doing before I go wiping all my apps etc. I'm running windows 8.1 issue was present before upgrading to 8.1 from 8 though.
Thanks!
