Pinnacle Studio 12 & 16, and Power Director fail to run on

I need to create a video and both my programs are totally unusable on Windows8. At opening I get a message saying it have stopped working and Windows will investigate the problem and let me know a solution. That has been since las April and still nothing has come from Windows, Anybody has idea of how to solve this. Help will be greatly appreciated.

I am using Power Director without any problem.
I suggest:

1. temporarily turn off Norton
2. Check if your Nvidia Video Driver is up to date.
3. Run the program as Admin

BTW, in your specs, what do you mean by Memory = 1 Theragram ???

My mistake

Is my fault: hard disk is a thera and memory is 8 GB

I'd look for alternative programs -- things like Pinnacle were fine many years ago (back in XP days -- even on W7) but there's literally ZILLIONS of much better multi-media choices today -- many of then totally free as well.
