Is there any way to force the install of a program in 32 bit instead of 64 bit?

Can’t seem to get it to install in 32 bit mode only 64…
64 bit was unstable on my other computer so it was installed in 32 bit mode which worked great..

But I didn’t do that install so I don’t know how the IT guy he did it

I tried in compatibly mode as Win 7 but it still installs the 64 bit program…
both 32 & 64 bit are on in install file.

The IT guy got it installed in my Win 7 setup but I can’t get a hold of him to see how he forced the 32 bit install

Any ideas

Hi again Sandhill,

First off, I have no idea how to do that but if no one responds, I would send a PM to user IVO and ask him for help. IVO is the creator/developer of Classic Shell and his executable is a combined 32/64 installer. So, if anybody would know, I'm thinking he would be a good place to start. Cheers!

Hi my2cents
Problem is solved, got in touch with IT guy and he has current program that works in 64 bit OS.
Asked him how he did it before but didn’t get a straight answer. He uploaded new version and all is well.
Just missed out on some work time the afternoon.. I’ve got to slow down and smell the roses more..

Boy my new computer sure is faster then my old one, I Like It.. Now that I have Classic shell installed and stay out of the Modern UI I think I’ll get along with windows 8 just fine

Thanks for the reply
