I am having issues with an app I purchased and downloaded via the iTunes 11 store (iTunes for win8 64-bit is installed) when I try to play the game (team UmiZoomi:Zoom into Math) w/my grand daughter nothing happens. I've been in touch w/apple support but so far they have not been able to come up with a solution. I'm about to request a refund and uninstall iTunes altogether. Anyone have ideas or the same issues?

If you downloaded an app from the iTunes store, you need to use the app on your Apple device. You cannot run iPhone/iPod/iPad apps on your machine.

What really bothers me about that is the fact that they state that the app can be used in windows 8 as long as I install the 64bit version of iTunes. Then on top of that it allows the app to be payed for and downloaded knowing I have win8. THEN on top of that their support team member responded to my "report problem" which stated I had win8 and he proceeded to give me solutions which haven't worked thus far..None of the solutions he gave me stated I could not use on anything other than Apple devices..Thank you for your response.
