Open .nbf files in Win8 or 8.1

I have Nokia back up files that I want to open in Win8 using Nokia PC Suite.

Or any other way!

That link is a joke! Thanks for nothing! I spent a lot of time trying to use "Grabit". Downloaded the program & tried to use it & all I got was "File Type Not Supported".

I suggest in the future YOU check the recommended program before you tell someone else to use it!

Now I know why I don't trust any program downloaded from an unknown site!

I said it MIGHT help.
There is no mention of any "Grabit" on the link.
I don't know how you came up with that.:think:

Being nasty will get you nowhere.

Probably got scammed clicking on an advertising button...

The link: How to Read the NBF Format | eHow
...says you need to rename the nbf to zip and you can open it in Explorer.

You can use 7-Zip as well, opens all types of archives.

Easy to do.

That is what the instructions on Grabit says, it don't work.

I found a better way. Take the Micro DV card out of the phone & put it into a card reader & it opens automatically in Win8.

This one episode really reinforced my judgement to NEVER download a program from some site that promises something & never delivers, Even when recommended.

I haven't lived to be 84 without being caught out a few times.

But, on my own, I solved It!

The site provided had some instructions not a program, that means only one thing: ads are shown on the site.
So I was right about the advertising then...
...because I don't see any Grabit here.

That what I do for quite some time on the computer, and I'm a long way till 84...
Don't trust click buttons that recommend programs out of a sudden: those aren't recommended at all.
Uninstall the unneeded program and run a virus scan.

You should stop the advertising in your browser, that way you can focus better on what you search when you visit a page and no programs get recommended to be downloaded.
