    Snipping Tool

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble accessing the Snipping Tool from the new Metro Start? I seem to be able to click on it, but then nothing happens... I've resorted to making a desktop shortcut for now, but was wondering if anyone had the issue fixed.

    Nothing happens?

Mine inconveniently opens on the Metro Screen itself. Sometimes it just auto minimizes straight after being opened. Check task manager to see if it ran then hid.

I ended up pinning it to the start menu with the Classic Start Menu Enable/Disable toggle context menu.

It's really, really strange. No matter what I do, it simply won't run from the new Metro Start. I've tried re-pinning it and everything.
Task manager shows nothing either, the process doesn't even start... :-/

Have you used any tweaks at all? I'm not sure why it's playing silly buggers tbh

Mine launches from Metro but immediately switches to Desktop. So I cannot make a snip of the Metro pages. And since my PtrScrn does not work, that is deplorable.

Well at least I am not the only one who is having issues then. I wonder what is causing it not to work? :-/

From the metro apps just right mouse click and choose pin to taskbar --then it's available in the quick start taskbar on the desktop.

Note -- to get to the application choose search and then choose the apps logo --this will then give you in alphabetical order all the applications installed on your system.

I've done this with MS outlook, EXCEL and a few more apps.

You can of course also create desktop icons and links if you prefer to access from the desktop.

    cheers
    jimbo.
