well here is my experience in Australia, I actually phoned Microsoft and gave them the key number and yes it is for my computer even though it didn't recognize the key on line, but there is a definite problem with the email and message tiles, they trying to solve it but I couldnt get the settings bar to appear when the mouse cursor was in the top right hand corner, I was then referred to HP and gave them my cd number all Ok but HP thinks that updates to my laptop when overseas recently is the cause of the problem, after two tries at restore (I can't get back to restore at a time when I think the problem started) my best option now is to do a recovery for my computer as that should fix the problem. I have had many updates on previous computers when travelling overseas so not really sure that this is the cause but if nothing works I will gladly go back to windows 7
