Hi,

I was wondering with so many new apps coming to the Win 8 store, Can you ask for a app to be created?
i would like to see a paltalk app etc Would be good if you can suggest things like games, programes you wanna see in the store!

What would you like to see in the store for more choice? :)

I think the best way for you to get your favorite apps into the Windows Store is for you to send them email. If enough people show interest, they'll have to think about it.

You'd be surprised how responsive a lot of developers are. A couple of apps in the Windows Store, I sent feedback to the developers and they actually responded and made improvements! Some really nice people out there.

Unfortunately, I have not had that experience and I was wondering (if you could share) the developers you have spoken with or emailed. I have had several chat sessions with them and also filed two complaints, and they blew me off to no avail. I am being persistent, but they don't seem to care even if they act as though do. Needless to say, I am not very happy with the Windows Store at this time. We are indie developers and maybe we don't count :(

sorry for the late response. the clearest memory was with the author of the Notepad Classic. the version I first tried would not let you save a text file with no file extension which was important for me. he answered and said he'd add that feature and it was changed within the week. he was really nice too.

Thanks dirtyvu for the response. We don't have the same problem because we are the author. We were just trying to get into the New Releases section of the Windows Store when it was certified by them and posted. They claim they have a "SECRET ALGORITHM" that only selects 98 apps to be in that section. Funny thing is that they often have the same games in the new releases section over and over again and don't give indies a chance at some exposure. Since that did not occur, we are having to use all the social media we can to try and get Impulsors marketed on our own and hope the second game we submit gets there. Thanks again for your response and I am glad you had a good experience with the author. They are the nice guys... the people that run the Windows Store aren't. Have a great day and what's left of the weekend ;)
