Bluray playback

With the latest version of MPC-HC it solved my dvd playback issue, however I'm still looking for a solution for bluray and because most of my movies are encrypted they're not going to work on MPC-HC or VLC as I've already tried.

I know of PowerDVD that will playback 3D and regular blurays along with DVDs, and it does list "Windows 8 ready" but what's your experience with Bluray and Windows 8? And what software are you using?

I can't help you personally because I only have Windows 8 via virtual box and play back Blu-rays on Win 7 with TMT5.

High Definition Software - SlySoft Forum

It is a sub forum of Slysoft for HD software. A lot of the stuff on there relates to Slysofts products of course but they also discuss other HD movie matters. I am sure some of them are using Windows 8 and will able to give you some pointers.
