Hi friends , I got a laptop yesterday with windows 8 . I have never used win 8 before . I started exploring apps , and to my surprise the apps which i have seen while in the showroom , some of them disappeared and also i can see the status that the apps have been downloading,, the issue was when i was exploring apps i have seen that the apps were updating , I paused them all , I believe it had happened becoz of that. I have no idea . And I used system restore, thinking i will get back all the apps . I dont know where is the mistake . Also today when i opened the system , 2-3 apps were downloaded and also when i shut it down it said it will take 2 days for the update and will restart after 2 days . And i didnot start my laptop after that . i am regretting that i shouldnot have explored so much :( Can some one please explain y this happened. I am worried regarding this as it is a new one . Please help me guys .

Thanks

Don't worry too much about apps. You can live without them. And if they are built-in when you bought your laptop.. they're probably just free apps. You can uninstall the apps that is not working propoerly and install them back again via store. Apps should not affect your laptop's performance too much.
