depends. what do you really want to use to show it off? games? multimedia?

a great touch newsreader is News Bento.

Tap Tiles is a ton of fun and it's speed-based so touch has the advantage. you'll be tapping the screen like a mad man. Wordament is best with touch. so is Cut the Rope. MineSweeper is fun. Plants vs Zombies on the PC was not designed with touch in mind but it works fantastically on a touch screen.

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is better with a 360 controller. but it's pretty good to show off as a game and does have touch controls. if you haven't tried it out yet, it has a cool slo-mo feature. the game gets faster and faster as you play it, but when you get near a ghost, it goes into a Matrix-like slo-mo situation which gives you time to fine-tune strategies, plan escape routes, etc. it sounds weird but it adds a ton to the gameplay (I have both the original and this sequel). a lot of fun.

if you're an artist, Fresh Paint is really cool. it's not a dumb Paint-like program. you can apply material to the canvas (or whatever other medium you choose like paper) and then blend in like in real life. so if you ever worked with oils, for example, you know how it works.

I'm not sure which apps have 10 point touch specifically. I never bothered to check.

I'm struggling to see the purpose of the Metro Start Screen unless the computer has a touch screen. Other than the Apps and the few Live tiles - programs I've installed open on the regular desktop when I click on the tile. Am I doing something wrong, or is that the way it should be?
