Bobsled - Free xtra phone line for all PC Mac device
Bobsled has done something no one has done before. They perfected free PC to Landline or cell phone phone calls over (most) PC, Mac Linux desktops, laptops and tablets and their equivalent phone devices. All you need is a browser but Bobsled integrates with mobile and has great messaging features. It supports: most Web browsers, Android phones and from the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It even integrates with Facebook if you choose.

Great for people without cell phones but have a Pc and internet connection or folks who's house phones are tied up at the moment, gamers who are in the middle of a game but need to stop to make a call and dont feel like getting up to find a phone or your Cell phone is still charging. It's like adding an extra phone line for free. Works with a head set and or built in microphone and speakers. You can use this to make free phone calls from wifi hotspots without a cell phone. I use it to call the wife's cell phone while she's shopping and while her son uses the house phone. I'm either gaming or watching free movies movie2k.to and I don't have to take off headphones and go looking for a phone. I'm already wearing half my phone so I call Bobsled up from its desktop icon, login in and make my call. It opens in a browser But you can pop it out like a desktop app and close the main browser.
Sound quality Great. You may have to tweak some audio settings in your Pc or Mac etc for best performance. Bobsled-to-Bobsled calls are also available with high-definition audio. They are working on adding Video Calling.
Each call will disconnect after 75 minutes But you can call back for another 75 minutes endlessly. That's awesome.
Mobile device integration: Bobsled Calling Mobile - YouTube
Voice Messaging : Bobsled Calling Voice Message - YouTube
Installation: Bobsled Calling Installation - YouTube
Bobsled is made by T-Mobile. It's awesome they made this cross platform app free to all and not just their mobile customers. The website says Only for the USA in one place then updates that in another place to include Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico too. I dont know if it works on Linux.. someone tell me.
