Solved licensing issue with bing weather

I have absolutely no bloody idea...
ok.. I noticed my bing weather live tile isnt updating, so I reboot the computer, cold reboot, nothing, I uninstalled the app and redownloaded it, nope..

checked the event log.

have a gander.

help?

ok, skype and bing weather are both flagging licensing issues.

I tried to submit a request to microsoft's support forums but it wont take the request...

ok..anyone remember that windows azure issue worldwide that downed halo 4's matchmaking servers? well, these two apps had problems at the same exact time..the day the azure service went back online the app issues stopped, so its my reasoning that the two were related.

as the apps have not had the issue recur, I am concluding the azure outage was the cause and am marking this solved.
