Does anyone have any experience in only installing a couple of applications from Office 365. I would like to only install Excel, Word and Outlook to save space on a Surface Pro. By the way I don't want to use the on-line version they provide.

You don't get this option with Office 365. It's an all or nothing install.

You are right, MS has confirmed saying if I load all and try to uninstall one application it uninstalls the whole package. Talk about poor options for tablet use.

How much space does it actually consume?

It looks like it take about .8 GB, as far as I can tell.

Well, that is not all that bad. I would be frustrated to pay the money and not have a choice. So I can certainly understand where you are coming from.
