Share feature not working

Hello all.

So when I want to share, say, an article in the News app or something, I click on the share charm while reading the article and choose to share by Mail. (I can't even share to the people app, which...uhh...good going Microsoft?) Anyways, I send it and all that arrives is the headline of the article, a fragment of a sentence preview, and a link prompting me to open the article in Windows 8 that doesn't even work. Yes, I sent the article to myself to test the feature out.

Here's what I got when I tried to share an article to myself:

Ravens hang on, beat Niners for Super Bowl title

Baltimore Sun - Sunday, February 3, 2013
NEW ORLEANS — Ray Lewis’ last ride has ended with a Baltimore Ravens coronation.... Twelve years aft...
If you have Windows 8, open this in News.

I'm using Gmail, by the way. Nothing is clickable, no links, pictures, nothing. So, what's wrong? Does the share charm just not work? Thanks for any help.

For this app, when you share feature is meant to be used by Windows 8 users. So when someone receives the email, they click on the "News" link ("If you have Windows 8, open this in News.") and it launches the News app with the article opened so they can read it. The "News" or "open this in news" should be clickable. It is for me. Tried it out in both Yahoo mail and Outlook.com mail.

Well the share feature itself can be used by anyone I think. I use it with my News Republic app and it works just fine. It links a picture with a formatted snippet of info from the app itself, along with a clickable link.

If the articles from the News app can only be shared with other people who have Windows 8 and the News app, then that is a really bad implementation of sharing in the app by Microsoft.
