Shell:Startup Not Working
On Windows 7, if I wanted to manually add a program to the start up list I would simply go to "shell:startup" via the run command and add the shortcut of the program I wish windows to start.
Now..
With windows 8 this doesn't seem to be working? Realtemp will not automanically start up. ?

Hello Peck,
The issue is due to RealTemp running elevated when opened. By default, Windows will not run elevated programs at startup.
As a workaround, you could use the tutorial below to create a task to run an elevated shortcut of the RealTemp program.
Afterwards, use this tutorial below to create another task to run the task or shortcut from above at startup.
Hope this helps,
Shawn
