Itunes problem

What mode are you running the install in? Try this

1. Right click iTunes and click properties from the "Windows 8 Desktop"
2. Select the compatibility tab.
3. Either run compatibility troubleshooter or set compatibility mode to Windows 7 and click apply.

Hope that helps, you can always try running in Admin mode as well.

I still don't understand why Microsoft didn't make W8 compatible with everything else! I hate this having to use compatibility mode or admin mode or ...............whats next? Oh, W7 pro on order, that'll do it.

yeah, I have iTunes installed in Windows 8, no problem, without having to deal with any compatibility mode. did you check the iTunes forums? iTunes is a POS but we have to deal with it.

what old software do you have installed? a lot of times, conflicts occur because people install old things to try to get old software to work and it breaks newer software.
