Nero

I used to run Nero media home 4 on w7 without an issue. Now that I installed w8 it is not compatible so I purchased Nero12 Platinum because they said it was w8 compatible. Everything works except what I bought it for. When I run Nero Quick Media it starts and runs for a bit and then stops and then restarts continuously. When I check on my tv if it sees the server it does but the program only indexes about a quarter of my movies. I tried support from Nero but they wont talk to me now that they have my money. I am wondering if it is windows 8 because on the TV it also sees my videos folder and sees all my movies but when I try to play one it says the server is not accessible. All my settings are correct for sharing on the hard drive. Could someone please help?????

Nero has sucked for at least the last 6 versions. I stopped using it a long time ago, it's way too bloated, buggy, and crash prone.

I think I will get my money back. I just purchased Power Dvd12 Ultra and it works great.

I use Nero but primarily for audio CD burning with Nero Burning ROM. It works fine for that.

Yes, the simple apps work fine, but all the other apps are just horrendous.
