I have absolutely no bloody idea...
is there any sort of guide or how to, with regards to the messenger app?

I spent two hours yesterday(before today's oops with windows update) trying to figure out all the intricacies of the app.

ok, since last night, the windows messenger app will not connect, it stubbornly refuses to send messages or show any of my contacts that I know for a fact are online, as online.
