Windows 8 Store doesn't work

Dear reader,

First of all, thanks for having a look at my problem and help.
Since two days ago I installed Windows 8 Pro on my PC.
Previously I was running on Windows 7 Ultimate.

Since the installation of Windows 8 I wanted to use the 'Store' app
on the Start screen, but till now, it doesn't work! (I activated the PC and
confirmed as trust PC at Microsoft Accounts with my mobile phone)

But it doesn't help. When I click on the Store app, it never opens. I see
the App icon making the click move when you press on it, but that's all, no error message,
or window appears why it doesn't open. I also tried with other accounts on my PC but
with the same result.

I hope anyone can help me, because I want to use it offcourse.
Thanks for your help, goodevening!

Hello!

Thanks for your warm welcome and quick response, I tried this way a lot of times (yesterday when I saw you response) but with no result, i'm not sure if I am doing it on the right way, it is very difficult and I do'nt know exactly how to do that, maybe someone who can explain it on the simple way for me? (the link here above) Sorry, but thanks in advance

Hi all. The first thing I usually advise when having problems with broken apps is to perform the scannow command as linked in my first post. This is a nice feature of 8. It usually solves the problem.

(my partitions names are C:/Jake and D:/ _OEMBP . So Maybe can someone explain how to use scannow from there..? Thnx in advance. Greetzzz!

Assuming you are not dual booting, just 8 alone, you would need to scan C:/. That's the drive where 8 should be installed on. The D:/_OEMBP sounds like a Packard Bell (OEM) backup partition.

Ooh also strange your problem because you already used Store, for me it have never worked.
Good luck man! also tried Scannow?

Press keys Win+X Power (opens Users Tasks Menu) -> choose Command Prompt (Admin) -> type sfc /scannow -> Enter

Please let us know how it goes.

Hi man,
Thank you, I tried to use scannow but unfortunatly without result. After scanning I get the following message: "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example: C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currenty not supported in offline servicing scenarios.

When I use the path to open the log, I get the alert: 'Access denied'
Thankyou!
