Something I have just found out and was very valuable. A lot of you more expert than me may already know this but in case someone does not, here goes:
When using IE9 (win 7) and IE10 (Win 8) and something refuses to open, try clicking on the little blue torn page symbol at the top, it reverts IE so that it can view your target. I had been having a lot of problems trying to access some work programs where my wife works, it simply would not open. Hope this is helpful to someone, somewhere, sometime?
