Hi there
Portable Photoshop is not a LEGAL program so according to Forum rules you shouldn't ask about these and we aren't allowed to give answers on them either.

As for Nero there's a free version available or imageburn also free is available.

The best way if you want to run "Portable apps" is really to install the LEGAL programs you need and create a Windows to Go system.

Cheers

Which version of Windows 8 are you running now; Is it legal?

Sometimes pirated software causes a lot of problems ...

The word legal in caps? What are you, some kind of copyright worshiper? Maybe it wasn't smart for him to mention the apps specifically, but since portable apps in general don't seem to work in Win8 compared to 7 it's a legitimate question for this forum.

All Jim was saying is that it is illegal to comment on specific programs that are considered illegal, thus he did the right thing by explaining the forums policies.

BTW, Welcome to the Eight Forums, it is always good to have some new view points, and ideas. . .
