I pinned notepad to the start menu, when I click it I expect to see a new instance of notepad if there is already 1 instance running but instead it refocuses on the already running instance

I know this can be achieved by right-clicking the start menu shortcut then clicking Open in New Window. I would like the shortcut to always Open in New Window when i run it. i Assume I hve to do change keys in registry? Whay keys should i change?

Edit: i created a shortcut in the desktop that point to notepad and it actually opens new instances instead of refocusing but I would really like to know how to change shortcut behaviors in the start menu interface so i could run multiple notepads from the start menu interface

btw, what is this new startmenu interface called?

I would like to ask for resources on how you edit the Buttons in the start-menu in a way that you can actually modify how they are ran (e.g. ran with parameters, etc.)

and also, where is the "start screen settings" (in which I do not mean the change-colors-only settings)?

I think I figured this out.
Open your first instance the normal way. Then right-click Notepad in the taskbar, and click Notepad. This will open a second instance.
(The weirdness is, in some ways, a motivation to get another text editor like Notepad++ though)
