I recently purchased a Dell 8500 with window 7. Movie maker worked great. I upgraded to the $14.99 windows 8 pro and now the Movie Maker software will not work. I import a video and I am able to cut the start position and set an end to the video - though it is very slow now. When I import the same video and try to edit it to the end of the video I just cut I get the yellow caution sign and I am not able to do anything with the video.
One of the reasons I bought a new computer was to edit videos faster. My old window pentium4 using Roxio 10 was quicker than my new computer since the upgrade.
Does anyone know if it is the software i.e. will Roxio's newest release or Cyberlink's Media Ultra work any better than the free Windows Movie maker?
