I installed the release version of Office 2013 from TechNet. But neither Word nor Excel are working. When I start either program, their start screen comes up normally. When I try to create a blank document, or open an existing document, I get an error dialog "Microsoft Word is not working" and the app terminates. Access and Powerpoint seem to load ok (though I have not tested them beyond their ability to create a blank document).

Anyone seen anything like this, or have any suggestions? I tried a repair install but that did not help.

I do have LibreOffice installed, and doc and xls file extensions default to LibreOffice, but that shouldn't break Word or Excel.
