Metro Mail Tile and email links.

[h=2]I am having a small problem with the metro mail tile. When someone sends me an email with a link to a website, and I click on it, it opens up in the "metrofied" version of chrome. I would prefer it to open in the desktop version of chrome. I am fairly certain that my default web browser is the desktop version of chrome. How do I check what my default browser is, or does anyone know a way to fix this? Thanks.[/h]

If you are accessing your mail through the Metro email App the links will open up in Metro IE or what ever you are using for a browser in Metro. I don't see any settings to change this behavior.

You may need to install a desktop version of the Email client in order for the links to open in desktop browsers, I'm not sure which email client you are using.

I can access my Hotmail account directly from desktop IE without having to install anything else by just going to Favorites lower right and clicking on the Hotmail link. You may be able to do this for Gmail and others not sure.

Since I'm already signed into my Windows Live account my mail connects directly from desktop IE and email links open up in desktop IE as usual.

Yeah, that's the thing. I really like the live tile, how it shows how many new messages I have, and the preview of them. I realize there are desktop clients that can do the same thing, but I'm trying to embrace metro as much as possible. That and I'm kinda ocd and don't have any icons on my desktop and want to keep it that way. Thanks for the reply.
