Windows 8 Apps don't work

Hi there,

I just installed windows 8 yesterday. I've been able to use a few apps like mail, store and skype. But other apps like music or games don't work. most of the apps downloaded don't work either like wikipedia or IM+. I tried using fiddler, turning off my antivirus (trendmicro security), refreshed (which was a pain because i had to install all my stuff again). nothing seems too work. any suggestions?

And for some reason starcraft 2 couldn't work. Steam works fine.

HOW did you get Skype to work!?!?

When I open the app it says it needs to be updated. So, I click it to update and it will either say pending forever or say downloading with only a tiny bit of green and won't move for HOURS. Did your Skype just automatically work!?

I have no idea. It just does. but other apps still dont work. skype isnt very good btw. you cant transfer files and the notification system as bugged out more than once sending already seen messages. I wanna fix right now!!
