Solved Tiles

The start menu comes with various tiles such as News, Travel, Bing, Financial... etc.

On my PC when I click on one of these a large screen flips up, then flips down, and I'm back at the start menu tiles again.

Just about all the large tiles do this.

Did I install a broken product?

Did you upgrade Windows 7? People have been having lots of problems with upgrade installs. It's always best to do a clean installation.

This used to happen to me when I was using a virtual machine, but now that I've dual-booted it never happens. I'm pretty sure it's a RAM thing.

PROBLEM SOLVED - Avast anti-virus program was blocking tile function. An update of Avast solved the problem.

This just started happening to me. Windows 8 was running fine for 3 days, and now I am seeing the problem described above. Anyone have any tips?
