Enterprise customers don't need media center. Enterprise is only mass available to volume license customers with a valid enterprise agreement. Customers cannot get that version of Windows.

Enterprises ( I means the business) don't have conferences room or show room ? The Executives can't have Media Center in their offices, Enterprise edition should have more features not less

Businesses typically don't need TV tuner or DVR functionality in the office. Nor do they often stream media. While they may elect to utilize media authoring or DVD/BluRay playback (depending upon the business function), they can also elect to run Windows 8 Professional on these machines so that they get the Media Center functionality. There is no cost associated with a business doing it this way.

I agree it's pretty silly to purposely limit functionality that it's lower versions of the software. I'm actually frustrated with Microsoft in general for offering so many versions of the OS, I think there should simply be 1 version and everybody using the same thing.
