Is there an App for this Forum?

Hi,

I searched the Store but couldn't find any app for this forum. I like Modern UI and would like to use an app to browse and post threads to this forum.

Does such an app exist?

not that I know of, but what I did was to open ie in the metro apps, go to windows eight forum, then swipe up from the bottom and picked Pin to the Start and it made my own metro app and it opens in the meto screen

Yeah, but that's still IE, as opposed to a forum/site-specific Windows 8 app.

I can only hope that this would change over time as we see more and more apps.

There is an iOS app for this forum, it's in the app store. I looked for a Windows 8 Tile but there was none.

I totally agree. Its tough enough to resolve standard Win 8 issues because many times you have to become a resident dentist to extract the proper details to even attempt a resolution. So, how would forum members handle similar request from new posters that report "hey my eightforums app was working until (whatever)? IMHO, if I were an admin, I wouldn't want that additional workload.

I could not possibly agree with your more. I fail to see the value whatsoever in any of the metro apps, but certainly not for this forum.
