Totally agree with Philgates. I should give up my Samsung Galaxy Touchwiz UI for Metro, not in a million years, Then I should give up my beautiful Win7 desktop UI for something that looks like Win98 with colour, don't think so. Re Google and desktop, try downloading Android x86 and dropping it...

You guys might have to get used to VLC player or XBMC, I have been trying to get Win 8 Media Ctr to stop pixelating for days. This is an example of where the user should not have to muck around searching for codecs or whatever just to play a simple avi file Win7 on the same machine plays perfectly.

Hi Just downloaded Media Center 8 and tried to play an AVI video....very poor playback all pixelated.:( Same PC, same AVI file, but with Win7 booted and Media Center 7 up and the movie plays perfectly. Also, VLC Media Player on Win8 plays AVI file perfectly. Checked Graphics Driver details...
