Hi and thanks for the idea.
I managed to get the taskbar to show and went into control panel and moved the taskbar from the bottom to the top of screen.
This has now solved the problem as it shows up every time.

I turned on my computer this morning to find the taskbar was not showing at the bottom of the screen.
I tried to sort the problem with no luck.
I searched Google and no answer for my problem could I find.
Can anyone help this newbie to sort this please?
