Believe the montior is ok , i bought it new and only had it couple of days, not the worlds greatest but at the least i would expect a reasonable visual experience, i have connected the monitor via an HDMI cable i had rather than the DVI-D, would this make any difference, just had it in my head...

yes and yes, the clear type have been through 3 times makes little if any difference at all, to the point that when you choose which text is best for you as you go through clear type given the choice i wouldn't pick any of them

thanks but have the drivers on as i have the discs from when they were new, have tried the monitor part and no difference
