    Deleting OEM service partitions?

KYHI , One question, you probably know this: If I create the new OS backup image in an acceptable by windows format like .vhd or .vhdx, can I use it through the windows refresh/reinstall interface, instead of the paragon boot media? Will it ask me to locate an image that it can work with? And...

    Deleting OEM service partitions?

Thanks, man! A few questions though: What does the dell diagnostics partition do? As far as I remember there was some option to do hardware diagnostics without booting windows. If it's that then I would want to keep this. And since I don't ever intend to go back to the factory installed win...

    Deleting OEM service partitions?

Hey yo! I have a Dell 7537 running win 8.1. When I bought the computer it came with windows 8.0 and the HDD has a few partitions on it, all hidden except the main one. The partitions are used for recovery, to "refresh" windows, because the computer doesn't have a CDROM. So the files for...

Solved dell inspiron 3542 unable to install wireless drivers

If your drivers are OK you just have to click the hardware switch which is that Fn + PRTSCR button. Remember, it only works with Quickset on. Also update to the latest airplane mode driver from dell.

I had a similar problem a few days ago. Solved dell inspiron 3542 unable to install wireless drivers

QuickSet just has to be installed and running. You may not even see it as try icon, just in your task manager. One way you can check if it's running properly is to try out the other Fn+ keys, like volume control, search and so on. Then if it works just press Fn+PrtScr. Press it multiple times if...

Solved dell inspiron 3542 unable to install wireless drivers

It's not the Fn + F1,2... key. If this is your laptop - http://www.pic.bg/media2/images/products/104177/bigs/c9d0e86b49c709a2de49d6ef6861f750.jpg It's the Fn + PrtScr button to activate. But you need QuickSet for it to work.

    Disable windows store at startup

I found Store in windows firewall and blocked it. In app history it shows just 1.3 MB of network usage but it still loaded those 50 MB in the RAM and made a spike in CPU and HDD usage... Windows update is still working tho. So that plan ended in failure... Any other ideas?
