Possible solution to Windows 8.1 Freezing on Boot
I´ve been working on a client´s laptop and he had this "Freezing" problem when starting Windows 8.1 from either hibernation or sleep.
I used ubuntu USB boot on 64GB USB to copy all his data off the disk to save it and reloaded windows 8.1...
