ok i did the refresh but it said "refresh was not completed...nothing altered" (something to that effect)....maybe cuz my laptop is so new?? i bought it a month ago in the states....now i live in Honduras....i currently download stuff to my cell and view it on my laptop when i want a bigger...

i ended up uninstalling "start menu 8" and installed "classic shell"....same error messages :-( so i dont know if it has anything to do with the start menus...i even went back to using the modern menu ....nothing...i keep tinkering....thx for responding earlier !
