    The bios has been reset and the Intel burn test has been completed. New Mouse has be installed too. Prime95 to follow. Temp ranges Standard: 50-79.5C Very High 49.8-81.8C Maximum: 52.7 81.7C (I had to step away from the pc during this test so I listed the hightst temp I observed) The pc idles...

    Will do! The new mouse will be here tomorrow so I should be able to run the stress tests then. Hopefully I'll be able to reset the bios this evening.

    Thank you so much! I'll need to buy a new mouse. I'll be sure to report back once I've run all of the tests and removed the errant drivers/software. I hadn't given too much thought to overclocking the cpu.
