windows memory management for chrome seems broken Since some time ago chrome and memory management acting weird : System always trying to move out chrome from physical to virtual memory even when physical memory is barely used like when i open many tabs after while tabs content gets blank...

there was no hdd activity so i did it , after the reboot it showed updating ur system so now i will try to run sfc/scannow again :)

Now the system got frozen I cant do anything other than moving mouse cruiser The dism thing was stuck @ 20% for more than half hour Should I force reboot ? :(

the article is wrong a bit IMO , i've lately had crashes and lag + (firefox not responding ) on firefox while chrome working like charm ( dev version ) without single crash since like 6 months ( i was having some crashes bcuz of IDM integration since they fixed it i had no crash whatsoever on...

oh thats good better than 3 or 4 steps we need on W8 :p

i have the same problem :/ some times after closing the lappy lid it seems sleep but as soon as i open the lid i see the lock screen even without pressing the power button

i have weird problem here whatever Chrome or Media playing ( video - music ) i get higher ping and unstable download speed with IDM (BTW Windows media player won't affect on speed or ping when its running :sarc: ) the problem happen on Wifi + Ethernet IE + windows media player playing song...

just uninstall every thing for gpu then u can use 12.4 just install it with w7 compatibility mode and it work like charm

no only on forums like if open a thread page with a lot of pics it freezing until load most of image and this problem didn't happen to me on w7

didn't fix it but not a big deal cuz only happened with chrome so its chrome issue and 90% happened in loading some forums page not on a normal website cuz i tried firefox and no freezing problem and really thanks for ur help
