    I use notepad and i saw that my old windows containing the operating system and all my files are renamed to windows.old.000. So what i try to do now is to use XCOPY command and copy everything in my windows.old.000 folder to my current windows folder. Hope it works

    There isn't a 12 option when i do that. I don't have a GUI option. Im using Windows Server 2012 R2

    i use the cd command to target windows folder where explorer.exe is suppose to be located but i can't launch it via cmd but i can launch notepad.exe using cmd
