Hi thanks or the advice ,, i have been on cmd prompt and run chkdsk and all seems ok with the hdd, memory checks out also was thinking that i should try to format the drive in cmd prompt and go from there ,,but not really sure of how to do that or even if its a good idea..what do you think.??

Hi all ,,i am trying to reinstall windows on a friends laptop, he had win 8 on and it just kept wanting to repair the system all the time and would not boot to windows , so i am trying to install a fresh os with win 7 but every time it gets so far in to the installation then goes to the BSOD,,is...
