Ran chkdsk /r c: and went to 10% complete and it hasn't progressed any further in nearly four hours. Is this long normal? Should I allow it to continue or stop and try something else? What is the correct way to end a chkdsk in progress? Thanks again - J

Thanks for suggestion. I ran it twice on the C drive, nothing was flagged.
