Sometimes the positions of my desktop icons change. And especially when I connect an external monitor. How can this be prevented? Or should I load a program that saves them? If so, then which one? Thank you for your help.

When watching Netflix and Amazon Prime, in full-screen mode, I cannot eliminate the progress bar at the bottom, even though the mouse is off of the screen. Is there a way to make the progress bar disappear? Making the mouse cursor disappear would be one way. But how? Thank you for your help.
