It looks as if you certainly have the hardware and software to run x265 files. Do you have the same problem with other files of this type? You could try to analyze the file with MediaInfo or GSpot and see these apps recognize the audio and vid. Otherwise it's probably a corrupt vid file.

Just came across this. You would be hard pressed to get any real performance out of our hardware config w/ win 8.1 installed. All software needs hardware to run from.
