    I purchased windows8.1 for my son. When he downloaded it we were not told he had to have 64bit program to get windows8.1 download. If you have 32 bit windows 7, it only gives you 32bit windows 8. When he asked why no 64 bit, we had to download it from my computer not his as mine is 64 bit...
