Oveclocked CPU not shown in Windows 8.1 Systems Properties

My cpu has a base clock of 2.2, which is what it shows on sys properties. I can force turbo boost to 2.9Ghz, and underclock it all the way to 800Mhz. When on battery with no clock override, it fluctuates between 1.2 and 1.8 Ghz. All these values are shown in real time on the task manager.

Windows explorer using high amounts of memory

I have 16gb RAM, and explorer.exe is using less than 26mb and jumps to 50mb if I open 10 windows. so with nothing open, 300mb is way too much in my opinion, independently on performance impact.

Program not responding, win8.1 Looking for definite fix.

I might have disabled Prefetch on the old computer, but I'm not doing it on this one, since I have enough RAM. The AV is set to leave heavy programs alone, and as far as I know it's only influential when a program is using the disc. I think you might have misunderstood the issue, or I wasn't...

Program not responding, win8.1 Looking for definite fix.

lol 16gb 1600, and 750Gb at 7200 rpm. The OS is on a partition that should reach 180mb/s, and heavy programs something like 120mb/s ?. (these values are under ideal scenarios though) And the program in question does not usually use more than 1.5-2 gb RAM, and shouldn't really be using the disc...

Issue: Even if I don't change process priority for the program, Win8 thinks he's the boss and decides to...

just making a guess If you paid for those, then I don't expect the problem to come from them. from the image you posted I can see there's a "more info" link, if you click it and post the link here, I can check it out. Or you can use the link and try to solve the issue :p

    Monitoring core performance

go to the installed programs and uninstall it... the problem is that if you didn't do so already, then you probably won't be able to sneak around in the C drive to kick out any obvious leftovers of that program... anyways, next time read what appears on screen before downloading, when...

Program not responding, win8.1 Looking for definite fix.

Scenario: Programs that take a long time to process a certain task, while not refreshing/updating the output/window while doing so. Issue: Windows 8 think he's the boss and complains that the program is "not responding" Details: I'm the boss, and Win8 is being fkng annoying with his...
