Win Explorer's FTP feature works fine for exploring my Android. No need to launch a 3rd party app since I usually have Explorer already open.

Nevermind. I found that there's a setting in Internet Options that needs to be set to display the familiar folder views. Internet Options->Advanced->Browsing->"Enable FTP Folder View"
