Changing Java didn't work. The issue seems isolated to Chrome. I basically stopped using that browser and went back to IE, and haven't had a crash since. Not sure what the issue is but I can live without Chrome so this can be marked as resolved.

The restart was not initiated by me and shows the same sequence of events in the logs. I ran some diagnostics using Hwinfo64 and the system does not seem to be overheating. I ran memory tests using memtest86 and there are no issues with the RAM. Not sure where to go next with this. I have...

I just completed a CPU stress test using the Intel tool and it passed. I'm moving on to other tests now. I noticed that my machine rebooted overnight (at around 2AM) when it was not running any video related applications, so it seems there is no relationship there.

Yeah, installing the RealTek driver was the first thing I did. I also uninstalled and reinstalled them a few times. I gave up on the situation and went back to Windows 7 --- worked immediately.
