Sigh.. My previous laptop (1yr old) broke thanks to motherboard failure Now this laptop (1yr old) wireless failure.. Sometimes i understand why people spend so much money on a MacBook :D Thanks guys ;)

Installed windows 7, no wireless adapter in my device manager. Installed drivers, still nothing. Installed 8.1 again. No wireless adapter.. Drivers installed, nothing. Now i'm kinda screwed.. I have no idea howto bring back my wifi adapter..

I have no anti virus software running, and if a clean install also causes this problem, not sure if safe mode will make any difference. I'm about to install win7, if this issue still appears then i'll bring my laptop to an it fixing service to see if my NIC is failing at a hardware level

It doesn't vanish anymore except when i want to reset the adapter, it turns off and then it sometimes dissapears or i just can't enable it anymore. I'm having these problems at my girlfriends house (4 days of the week) and i think it's a sitcom router (i'm the only one having these issues)...

A couple of reboots and shutdowns later: and Aparently, that unsolvable error solved itself. I haven't been on alot lately, so can't really tell if the wifi problem is fixed, but it appears to be better than before. Thanks chev65, already gave you a thumbs up ;) Edit: I think it's fixed...

I've tried it, there was 1 unsolved issue, but I can't look at the CBS.log file.. Acces denied. But i give up, already started to backup some files and programs, i'll do a full format, clean win8 install :D Thanks for the quick replies and usefull information ;)

Yes, it's like i never had a wireless adapter. Even a restart wouldn't always solve the issue, full shutdown... But the thing i don't understand... it's been a couple of hours since i rebooted my pc 10x and a couple of shutdowns (because it occured 2sec after boot etc just wouldn't recognize my...

Hi, After a while when i'm browsing the web etc, my wireless connection goes to Limited and there are no other wireless networks available (when there should be 10+ networks). When i disconnect that limited connection, there are suddenly no networks found and my wireless adapter disables...
