I use gmail for my junk stuff so my main acct stays fairly clean.

I put msidcrl30.dll in my system 32 folder. Deleted Windows Mail folders in Program Files. Copied my Windows Mail folder from Program files on my Windows 7 (64) computer to a usb stick and then pasted it in Program Files on my Windows 8.1 machine. Now my old email is working like a champ.

Is this done the same way that it was done in Windows 8? Mine was working until I updated to 8.1
